UFC 321: Aspinall vs Gane
The UFC heads to Abu Dhabi next, with UFC 321: Aspinall vs Gane taking place this Saturday, October 25th 2025, at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Tom Aspinall (C) will face off against Ciryl Gane (#1) in his first title defense since being elevated to undisputed champion following Jon Jones’ retirement. With his last fight being back in July 2024, Aspinall has spent the better part of a year trying to secure a fight with Jones, a fight that never materialized. Now, with Jones officially out of the picture, Aspinall finally has the chance to prove himself as the rightful heavyweight king.
Aspinall enters the fight with a 15-3 record, with all 15 wins being finishes (12 by knockout, 3 by submission), and 14 of those finishes being in the 1st round. This will be Gane’s third attempt at gold, after previously coming up short against Francis Ngannou and then later Jon Jones, who both exploited his takedown defense and grappling skills. Gane has been working hard to close this gap, but with Aspinall being a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, his ground game will likely again be put to the test.
